Mark Thomas is a highly regarded strategist and smart cities expert and he is Serviceworks’ Managing Director.
Mark received the Leadership Award for Outstanding Contribution towards building Smart Cities, and is part of the Top 50 Most Impactful Smart Cities Leaders.
He is on the boards of the Smart Cities’ Asia Advisory Board, NZ Tech’s Sustainability Board, and New Zealand’s SME technology organisation NZRise. He was a founding member of the Australia New Zealand Smart Cities Council Future of Place Taskforce and is a member of the current ANZSCC Future of Place Code Taskforce. He is also a director of the Committee for Auckland, a director and immeadiate past chair of the ASEAN New Zealand Business Council and he chairs the Auckland Night Shelter Trust.
He co-authored Mobility Now. Connecting Communities: Smarter, Sooner, Safer when a member of the Urban Mobility Taskforce. He wrote the first history of smart cities in New Zealand Making New Zealand’s cities smarter in the Industry of Technology Professionals of New Zealand’s 60 years of Tech in New Zealand.
He is a regular international speaker and commentator on smart city, urban and mobility issues. He is based in Auckland, New Zealand.

Andy Zheng is a leading innovator and data analytics expert. He founded Singapore-based Aspiring Citizens Cleantech (ACC) and PAIR City and is Chief Scientist.
Andy was recognised at the Singapore Good Design Awards for the mobile application he helped develop to aid Singapore’s sustainability and economic development objectives.
ACC’s R&D effort in smart electric mobility has produced PAIR, a plug-and-play big data platform for urban transport modes which facilitates mobility as a service transport applications. ACC has also produced a big data and AI analytical engine called FluTrace to aid COVID-19 contact tracing.
Andy is an Adjunct Fellow at the LKY Centre for Innovative Cities in Singapore. He holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
He is a regular international speaker and author on sustainable mobility. He recently guest lectured at Stanford University on Data Infrastructure for Sustainable Mobility in a Smart City.
He is based in Chengdu, China.
